KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Circa 550-500 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 17.24 g), Attic standard. Two silphium fruits side by side; above and below, silphium plant (?). Rev. Incuse square divided by a thick vertical line and with irregular surfaces. BMC -, cf. p. XIX, 1b. Boston MFA -. SNG Copenhagen -. Extremely rare. Some traces of corrosion and with minor deposits, otherwise, good fine.
